Meet at Jacob Thompson House at 5:30pm for hor d'oeuves
Keep Homestead Museum at 6:30pm for dinner
Followed by a short business meeting & a tour of the museum

 

Inventory Project

• The Monson Historical Society maintains an office in a 7-room apartment on Green Street.
• Over the years, many objects, papers, photos, etc. have been donated to the Society, filling the available space - there are boxes and stacks of paper everywhere!
• In 2002, it was decided to concentrate on inventorying, cataloging and putting these items into archival storage.
• Members meet once a week and have studied the correct ways to accomplish this.
• One member has specialized in recording the items into PastPerfect, an internationally recognized museum software program.
